Stampin Friends Blog Hop - All About Flowers

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for April!

This month's theme is 'All About Flowers'. This was really to celebrate Mother's Day for the US and Canada, however here in the UK we celebrate Mother's Day in March so my projects are for any occasion :o)

If you are following along with the Hop, you may have arrived from Jo's Blog.

Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Jean's Blog.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.

Here are the projects I created for this month's Hop ...

I made a Display Card which measures 5" x 6" when closed and a Card Box to hold it.

I used the lovely Bloom & Grow stamp set and the coordinating Budding Bloom dies, together with papers from the Butterfly Bijou 6" Designer Series Paper pack. These papers are now completely sold out in Europe, but they may possibly still be available in Australia, US or Canada.

The main colours used for this one are Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green. All the images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

I love this sentiment, it's one of my all time favourites :o)

I created a Box to hold my card. This one was only ½" tall and I wasn't happy with it so for my next one I used the measurements from one of my previous Videos and created it ¾" tall. You can find the Video for it HERE.

Here is the card I created in today's Video.

The main colours used are Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.

I kept the card quite simple for the Video. You could add extra embellishments to the side edges on the front if you wanted to.

From the top the card has a reverse Z fold.

And ... the Box I made to go with it.

Here is the Video ...
