Vine Design - with the Brilliant Wings Dies - Video Tutorial


Today's cards use both the Vine Design stamp set and the coordinating Flowering Vine dies. 

I also used the Brilliant Wings dies which are part of an early release of products coming in our new Annual Catalogue next month.


I used one of the beautiful Floral panel dies from the Flowering Vines set to create a stencil. This was then used to make the borders on the card. I show you a couple of ways to create the stencil in the Video below.


The Butterflies were created using the Brilliant Wings dies. I used paper from the Brights 6" Designer Series Paper pack but my designs are now retired we have all new patterns now - I have linked the newest paper pack below.

The colours used here were So Saffron and Melon Mambo.


This is the card I created in the Video. The colours used are Daffodil Delight - I wanted something a little brighter - and Pacific Point.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

 

         

Basic Black card base                              ½ an A4 standard sheet of card

                                                                                          (US 8½” x 11”)   

 

Basic White (Inside)                                 14.4cm x 10cm   (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Pacific Point                                                  14.1cm x 9.8cm  (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Whisper White                                            13.8cm x 9.5cm  (US 5” x 3)

 

 

You will need extra Basic White and Basic Black card and some Brights 6” DSP to complete the project.
