Vine Design - With Purple Posy

The floral panel dies in the Flowering Vine die set are absolutely gorgeous. I decided to create a card with each of them.

I used the Vine Design stamp set for the sentiment which coordinates with the dies. Both are available together as a bundle saving you 10% on the total cost.

I wanted some dimension for these cards. The die cuts are very intricate and adding Dimensionals (foam squares) to the reverse would have been a little tedious ... and you would have needed lots of them to make the panels stable on the card. So ...... instead I cut 4 of the die cuts for each card. Before cutting them I added some of our double-sided adhesive sheets to the reverse. This creates a sticker of the die-cut and makes it very easy to use - no messy wet glue :o)

I stacked all the die-cuts together and this made for a very beautiful and sturdy panel. It was then just a case of peeling off the backing to the bottom one and adding the panels to my cards.

Now ... I have to say that stacking the circular panels together was not an easy job! Because there isn't a stable outside frame for this one - none of the flowers or leaves are linked at the edge - it was really fiddly to line up one on top of the other. 

I was really pleased when I did the oval and rectangular ones that it wasn't the same and they are very easy to stack together. 

All my cards have a very simple layout but they look very elegant.

I used papers from both the Neutrals and 2019 - 2021 In Colour 6" Designer Series Paper packs for the fronts of the cards. These designs have retired but we still have the packs with new designs.

All the cards use Purple Posy which is one of our soon to be retired In Colours. I love this colour but really haven't used it that much so need to use up all the card I have left :o)

I stamped the outline for the sentiment panel first before using my Stamparatus to line up and stamp the actual sentiment.

All the cards were finished off with a few Basic Rhinestones.
