Color & Contour - 6" Square Easel Card - Video Tutorial

Today's Video shows you how I created these 6" Square Easel cards.

I used the lovely Color & Contour stamp set and coordinating Scalloped Contour dies. The dies are some of my all time favourites. There are just two outline dies that match the stamp set. The rest of the dies consists of 5 scalloped edges mat dies. Each is a different size and has a different edging to it. I used 3 of the dies on these cards - I love them! :o)

The main colours used for my first card are Misty Moonlight and Daffodil Delight. I used a little Mint Macaron ink to colour the leaves and stems of the Flowers. 

This is the card I created in the Video. The card base and front panel are Gorgeous Grape and I paired it with Blushing Bride mats. The Flowers are Highland Heather this time.

The beautiful papers used for both of these cards come from the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper pack.

          (Or join 2 pieces of card together to create this 6½” x 6” and 6” x 6”)

 

With the LONG side across the TOP, score at 3”

 

Blushing Bride                                           15cm x 15cm               (5⅞” x 5⅞”)

Hand Penned DSP                                   14.7cm x 14.7cm       (5¾” x 5¾”)

 

Blushing Bride (x2)                                  15cm x 7.3cm              (5⅞” x 2⅞”)

Hand Penned DSP                                   14.7cm x 7cm              (5¾” x 2¾”) 

Basic White                                                  14.7cm x 7cm              (5¾” x 2¾”)

 

Gorgeous Grape                                         8.1cm x 4.8cm             (3¼” x 1⅞”)

 

Blushing Bride                                            11.7cm x 8.4cm            (4⅝” x 3 5/16”)

Basic White                                                  11.4cm x 8.1cm            (4½” x 3 3/16”)

 

You will also need additional Basic White and Gorgeous Grape card to complete the project.
