Hand Penned Petals - Double Z Fold Card - Video Tutorial

Today's Video show's you how I created these Double Z-Fold Cards.

I used the lovely Hand-Penned Petals stamp set together with the coordinating Penned Flowers dies.

The papers used come from both the Subtles 6" Designer Series Paper pack and the 2021 - 2023 In Color pack.

The sentiment comes from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set.

The middle Basic White panel is where you would write your message. I embossed the panels either side of it using the Pretty Flowers folder.

The colours used for this first card are Balmy Blue, Polished Pink and Mint Macaron ... with just a little Daffodil Delight.

This is the card I created in the Video. I switched out the Polished Pink for Pale Papaya. 

The Flowers on the right were cut out by hand.

All the images were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

 

         

Basic Black                                              ½ A4 sheet of card       (US 8½” x 11”) 

 

With The LONG side across the TOP, score at:

5.25cm and 10.5cm        (US 2⅛” and 4¼”)

 

Basic Black                                              18cm x 9cm                     (US 7” x 3½”)

 

With the LONG side across the TOP, score at:

9cm and 14.2cm              (US 3½” and 5⅝”)

 

 

Balmy Blue x2                                        14.5cm x 4.9cm           (US 5⅜” x 2”)

Balmy Blue DSP x2                             14.2cm x 4.6cm           (US 5¼” x 1⅞”) 

Pale Papaya                                             14.5cm x 10.1cm        (US 5⅜” x 4⅛”)

Pale Papaya DSP                                  14.2cm x 9.8cm           (US 5¼” x 4”)

 

Basic White                                             8.7cm x 8.7cm             (US 3⅜” x 3⅜”)

Basic White                                             8.7cm x 4.9cm             (US 3⅜” x 2”) 

Basic White                                             8.7cm x 3.4cm             (US 3⅜” x 1¼”)

 

 

You will need extra Basic White to complete the project.
