Stampin Friends Blog Hop - Dream In In Colours

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for June! 

This month's theme is 'Dream In In Colors' - everyone is sharing projects using the newest Stampin' Up! In Colors. This year's colours are just gorgeous. I love them all and they are my favourite ones in quite a while :o)

Here are my projects for this month's Hop ...

I created a Gift Bag and coordinating card.

I used the Free As A Bird stamp set together with some of our latest In Colour Designer Series Paper and Shimmer Vellum.

You have seen this Gift Bag before only in a smaller size. You can find the details and Video for it HERE. This one measures 6" wide, 7" tall and 2" deep - so I increased the width and height this time. 

If you are interested in creating one you will find the measurements needed below but check out the Video for the method :o)

I love all our new In Colours this time and for this project used Polished Pink and Evening Evergreen.

The Shimmer Vellum comes in all the new In Colours and is beautiful. I embossed it with the Stitched Greenery die and then coloured all the leaves on the reverse using the Dark Evening Evergreen Blends marker. The bottom edge was cut using one of the Basic Borders dies.

I added a few of the In Color Jewels to finish off the card and the Gift Bag.

This is the first card I created. I used Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent for this one.

Measurements

Card:

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

You will need extra Basic White card to complete the project.

Gift Bag:

Note: A4 users can get away with 8¼" for the width of the card stock - the ½" Tab will become a ¼" Tab on the right hand side.

Polished Pink – Back and Side               11” x 8½" (8¼")

 

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score at:  6” and 8”

With the LONG side across the TOP, score at:   2” and 9”

 

Polished Pink – Front and Side               9” x 8½" (8¼")

 

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score at:  6” and 8”

With the LONG side across the TOP, score at:   2”
