Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for July!
This month's theme is 'Rewind & Redo'. This is a throwback to our past projects or techniques. We are remaking favourite projects of the past and giving them an update using new products!
If you are following along with the Hop, you may have arrived from Heidi's Blog.
Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Melissa's Blog.
If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.
Here are my projects for this month's Hop ...
All the main products used on these products are brand new! In fact they are not available to customers until 3rd August 2021.
I created Pop-Up and Twist Panel cards and Boxes to hold each of them.
I have made several of this type of card in the past. You can find them HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and my all time favourite one ... HERE.
In the Video below I show you how to create the cards. If you are interested in seeing how the Boxes are made, you can find the details HERE.
All the papers used for this first card come from the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper pack.
All the images were also cut from this paper - they are super adorable!
Both sentiments used come from the coordinating Sweet Little Stockings stamp set - this also has a coordinating Stockings die set.
The little White panel mat was stamped using one of the images in the stamp set and then embossed with the Snowflake folder from the Wintry 3D set.
This is the project you see me create in the Video.
This time I used papers from the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper pack. This is going to be one of the FREE items you can select with a qualifying purchase in our next Sale-a-Bration promotion - also coming on 3rd August.
The papers coordinate with a bundle from the new August to December mini catalogue... which is the Penguin Place stamp set and the Penguin Builder punch.
All of these adorable images (except one) were cut out by hand from the papers. The Penguin actually coordinates with the Penguin Builder punch so I was able to punch this one out.
I love the colours used in this paper pack - they are a little different to the normal Christmasy colours.
This is such a fun card to create and has a real WoW factor for the recipient. It looks like a 'normal' card until you open it to reveal the fabulous pop-up and twist panels!
