Turtle Friends - Triple Point Card (A2/A6) - Video Tutorial

In my last Video post, I showed you how to create a 6" Square Triple Point  card. Today, I will show you how to create a standard sized Triple Point card - either A2 or A6.

You should be able to create a Triple Point card for any size, the technique is the same for all of them, you just need to adjust the measurements accordingly.

I used the super cute Turtle Friends stamp set and coordinating Turtle punch together with paper from both of the In Colour 6" Designer Series Paper Packs.

The colours used for this first card are Cinnamon Cider and Soft Succulent. 

The Turtle was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with the Soft Succulent Blends alcohol markers. The Shell was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink and then over stamped using Versamark ink. It was then Heat Embossed with Clear powder. I then coloured around it using the Light Cinnamon Cider Blends marker.

This is the card I created for the Video. I used Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake. 

The Shell was stamped with Cherry Cobbler and over stamped with Versamark before embossing with Clear powder. I then coloured around it using the Dark Crumb Cake Blends marker.

The papers are from the Neutrals and Regals 6" Designer Series Paper pack.

This is what the card looks like inside. You would write your message on the shaped White panel.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

 

         

Cherry Cobbler card base                  ½ an A4 standard sheet of card

                                                                            (US 8½” x 11”)  

 

MARK the bottom of the FRONT Panel at the HALF WAY point  -(5.25cm / 2⅛”)

 

CUT from the TOP LEFT and TOP RIGHT of the FRONT panel down to the MARK

 

 

Crumb Cake**                                          14cm x 9.8cm              (5¼” x 4”)

Crumb Cake DSP**                               13.2cm x 9cm              (5” x 3¾”)

Cherry Cobbler DSP**                        13.2cm x 9cm              (5” x 3¾”)

Crumb Cake – Inside                            13.9cm x 9.6cm          (5¼” x 4”)

Basic White - Inside                              13.6cm x 9.3cm          (5” x 3¾”)

                                              

**Cut pieces exactly as the Front of the card base was cut

 

 

You will need additional Basic White and Cherry Cobbler card to complete the project.
