Honeybee Home - with Heart & Home

Today I'm sharing another card created using the Honeybee Home stamp set and coordinating Honeybee Blooms dies, together with paper from the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper pack.

This blue paper is my favourite from the pack. I love blue and white!

The Bees were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copic markers - I list the colours below and also the corresponding Stampin' Blends colours you could use instead.

With this design of card I think it's very important to cut the paper carefully so that the design is symmetrical. This can be a little fiddly and also eat into your paper supply, but I think the end results are worth it.

Stampin Friends Blog Hop - Life's Special Occasions

Here are the projects I created for this month's Hop ...

I used the Honeybee Home stamp set and coordinating Honeybee Blooms Dies together with paper from the Brights 6" Designer Series Paper pack to create an Impossible Box and card.

The images in this stamp set are lovely ... especially if you love Bees!

Despite its name, the Impossible Box is very easy to make. I show you two different ways to do this in the Video below.

To open the Box you just pull up the lid ...

... and the top opens out.

The card uses more images from the stamp set. There are outline dies for all of them in the die set as well as additional dies that I didn't use today.

The White panel was embossed using the Honeycomb folder. The sentiment comes from the Celebrating You stamp set.

Either:

 

Balmy Blue                                                 10⅝” x 9½”

 

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at:

2¼”, 4½”, 6¾” and 9”

 

With the LONG side across the TOP, score down at:

2¼”, 7¼”, 8⅜” and 9½”

 

Fold along the 2^nd of the top 3 horizontal score lines and mark at: 

1⅛”, 3⅜”, 5⅝” and 7⅞”

 

Or:

Honeybee Home - Stay Wonderful

I've been having a play with the Honeybee Home bundle, so you will see a few projects coming up that were created with these :o)

I used the stamp set, the coordinating Honeybee Blooms dies and some of the wonderful Heart & Home Designer Series paper for this card.

The White and Black mat under the Bee were die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. The White mat was also embossed using the Honeycomb folder.

I used the Double Oval punch to cut out the sentiment.

I stamped the Bee using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured it with Copic markers.
