Let's Set Sail - Sunset


In today's Video I show you how I created these lovely Sunset Cards.

I used the Let's Set Sail stamp set and coordinating Sailboat punch.


The sunset is very easy to create. I used one of my Simple Masking Templates for this. If you are interested in seeing how these Templates are made, you will find the details HERE.


The Sun was ink blended using Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red ink - keeping the centre lighter than the outside.

Starry Sky and Night of Navy inks were used for the Sky and Starry Sky alone for the Sea.

The contrast colour used for the layer and the sails is Sweet Sorbet.


This is the card I created in the Video. The contrast colour used this time was Bermuda Bay.

Measurements
 
Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

         

Night of Navy card base                 ½ an A4 standard sheet of card

                                                                                                                    (US 8½” x 11”)  

 

Basic White (Inside)                         14.4cm x 10cm            (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Bermuda Bay                                       14.1cm x 9.8cm           (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Basic White                                          13.8cm x 9.5cm           (US 5” x 3)

 

You will need additional Basic White and Bermuda Bay card to complete the project.
