Stampin Friends Blog Hop - Lots Of Layers

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for June!

This month's theme is 'Lots Of Layers'.

If you are following along with the Hop, you may have arrived from  Tiziana's Blog.

Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Barb's Blog.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.

Here are the projects I made for this month's Hop ...

I created a Fancy Fold. Pop Out Gift Card Holder and a Box to present it in.

I used the Happiness Abounds stamp set together with the coordinating Blossoming Happiness dies. I also used papers from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper pack.

The Boxes are my standard size to hold A2 or A6 cards. They are ¾" deep. You can find the instructions HERE.

I kept the front of the cards fairly simple, just displaying a cluster of Flowers in the centre.

The card standing and how it would probably be displayed.

There is a pocket for a Gift Card and one for a Tag. You would write your message on the Tag.

The inside of the card fully flattened out. The Baker's Twine used is some of the thick, solid twine now retired.

The pink used is Melon Mambo. This is the only colour I changed for the second card.

This is the card I created in the Video. I changed the Melon Mambo to Fresh Freesia to match the paper used.

The card is very easy to create, it just takes time to colour the images. Alternatively you could die cut images from the papers instead and use them.

The Ribbon used is our Open Weave in Fresh Freesia.

If you didn't want to use the card as a Gift Card Holder, you could create a second Tag for the space and either just decorate it or write an additional message.

The top view of the card.

Here is the Video for the Card ...
