Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for July!
This month's theme is 'Perfectly Punched'.
If you are following along with the Hop, you may have arrived from Tiziana's Blog.
Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Maureen's Blog.
If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.
Here are the projects I made for this month's Hop ...
I used the Sweet Songbirds stamp set and coordinating Songbird Builder punch to create a Gift Box and card.
You can find a Video showing how I created the Gift Box below.
The Gift Box measures 4" wide, 4" deep and 4" tall.
The paper comes from the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series paper pack (now retired) ... but you could use any coordinating paper pack.
The Basic White background panel was embossed using the Into The Clouds folder. I then coloured the 'sky' part using Balmy Blue ink and a Blending Brush.
The punch cuts out the larger bird, the beaks and the wings. The other elements were cut out by hand.
The card design was created in the same way as for the Gift Box. The sentiment is one of seven in the stamp set.
I used one of the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut out the sentiment.
Here is the Video for the Box ...
