Today's Video shows you how I created these simple Fancy Fold cards.
They are sort of Z-fold cards ... but in reverse :o)
I used the beautiful Cottage Rose stamp set and coordinating Cottage Flowers dies, together with the absolutely gorgeous Abigail Rose Designer Series paper.
The images were stamped using Early Espresso ink and coloured with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.
I used Petal Pink for the main Flower on this first card. The leaves are in Old Olive and the little spray flowers in Calypso Coral.
There is a mat inside where you can write your message. If this isn't big enough for you, you could replace this with more of the paper and add a panel for the message onto the reverse of the card instead.
The card folds flat to a standard size.
The pearls used on both cards come from the Share What You Love Artisan pearls pack. This is retired but you can get the same look by using our Pearl Basic Jewels and colouring them with the dark Blends marker in the colour of your choice.
This is the card I created in the Video.
I used Daffodil Delight for the main Flower this time. The other colours used are the same as for the first card.
I also used Very Vanilla for both these cards instead of my normal Basic White. It goes much better with the neutral tones in the papers.

Measurements
Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).
If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).
Early Espresso card base ½ an A4 standard sheet of card
(US 8½” x 11”)
With the LONG side across the TOP, score down at:
5.25cm and 10.5cm (US 2⅛” and 4¼”)
Abigail Rose DSP 14.4cm x 10cm (US 5¼” x 4”)
Abigail Rose DSP 14.4cm x 4.75cm (US 5¼” x 1⅞”)
Very Vanilla 14.4cm x 4.75cm (US 5¼” x 1⅞”)
You will need additional Very Vanilla and Early Espresso card to complete the project.
