Hippest Hippos - Cute Scene Card - Video Tutorial

I show you how I created these super cute scene cards in today's Video.

I used the Hippest Hippos stamp set and coordinating Hippo dies. Each of these items is currently available for FREE during our Sale-a-Bration promotion - which finishes at the end of this month.

This first one was my 'prototype' card. I ink blended the background and then added clouds created using the Cloud punch. I wasn't too happy with the finished result of this and decided to change up the card I created in the Video below.

The stamp set contains three adorable images and a choice of four sentiments but I picked one from the Go To Greetings stamp set for each of the cards.

This is the card I created in the Video. I used one of my own Cloud stencils for the background this time and like it a lot more :o)

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

 

         

Starry Sky card base                       ½ an A4 standard sheet of card

Basic White (Inside)                        14.4cm x 10cm            (US 5¼” x 4”) 

In Colour DSP                                     14.4cm x 10cm            (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Real Red                                                 12.6cm x 8.3cm           (US 4⅜” x 3¼”)

Basic White                                          12.3cm x 8cm               (US 4¼” x 3⅛”)

 

 

You will need additional Basic White, Starry Sky, Real Red and Crushed Curry card to complete the project.
