Stampin Friends Blog Hop - Say It With Sentiments

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for September!

This month's theme is 'Say It With Sentiments'.

If you are following along with the Hop, you may have arrived from  Jo's Blog.

Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Jean's Blog.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.

Here are the projects I made for this month's Hop ...

I used the Trimming The Tree and Brightest Glow stamp set to create these super sweet Gift/Treat Bags and coordinating cards!

All the papers are from the Lights Aglow 6" Designer Series Paper pack.

This sentiment is just perfect for me. I like simple sentiments in a gorgeous font and that's what you get with the Brightest Glow stamp set.

Cherry Cobbler is the main colour used for this first set. I paired it with Gold Foil card for the Gift Bag.

The sentiments are stamped using Versamark and embossed with Gold Powder.

These Bags measure 3" wide, 3" tall and 1½" deep. They are perfect to hold sweet treats or a small gift - jewellery perhaps :o)

I'm very happy with how the card came out. I wanted the sentiment to really stand out and having it on this angle certainly makes that happen.

I used one of the dies from the Stylish Shapes set to cut out the sentiment, but I made it smaller. I show you how I did this in the Video below.

I chose a different contrast colour for this next set - Evening Evergreen.

This is a lovely little bag to present a small gift in. It's strong and has a beautiful quality about it :o)

The Bag also folds flat so you can store lots easily until they are needed.

I hand cut out the images for the little Tree - but if you have purchased the Tree Trimmings Dies (available for this month only) then you could use those to cut out your images.

Here is the Video for the Gift Bag ...
